Ingredients
- Bone Suckin' Hot Honey, 2-4 oz
- Pasta, 1 lb, elbow
- Butter, unsalted, 4 Tbsp
- All Purpose Flour, 1/2 cup
- Milk, whole, 4 cups
- Cheese, sharp cheddar, shredded, 4 cups, 1 cup reserved for top
- Cheese, Gruyere, shredded, 2 cups, 1/2 cup reserved for top
- Salt, 3 tsp
- Pepper, 1/2 tsp
Method
Step 1
Preheat oven to 375°F.
Step 2
Boil pasta according to directions on box. Drain and set aside.
Step 3
In a pot, on stove, melt butter over medium heat. Add flour and whisk for about a minute until it looks like a paste. Add 1 cup of milk and continue whisking until there are no lumps. Add remaining milk, salt and pepper. Cook, whisking frequently, for 5-8 minutes until thickened. Remove from heat and stir in cheese.
Step 4
Add pasta to cheese mixture and fold in. Pour into a 9x13 oven safe dish and add remaining shredded cheese on top. Bake for 20 minutes. Broil for the last 2-3 minutes.
Step 5
Remove from oven and allow to rest for 20 minutes. Drizzle Bone Suckin' Hot Honey over portions before serving.
