Ingredients

  • Bone Suckin’® Hot Seasoning & Rub, 3 Tbsp
  • All Purpose Flour, 1/2 cup
  • Olive Oil, 1/4 cup
  • Beef Broth, 3 cups
  • Chopped Steak, 1 1/2 lbs
  • Large Onion, 1 diced
  • Sea Salt & Pepper
  • Mushrooms, 8 oz

Method

Step 1

In a resealable bag, mix together Bone Suckin’® Hot Seasoning & Rub, 1/4 cup of flour, sea salt and pepper. Drop the meat into the bag, shake to coat well and set aside.

Step 2

In a large skillet, heat 1/8 cup of oil to medium-high and add onions to the skillet. Cook the onions for 7 minutes or until translucent. Remove the onions from the pan and set aside. Add the remaining oil to the pan and then add the meat. Brown the meat for 5 minutes per side and remove from the skillet.

Step 3

Whisk 1/4 cup of flour with the oil left in the skillet (it should turn pasty). Add the beef broth and stir until the sauce thickens. Place the meat and onions (and mushrooms) in the sauce, cover, reduce heat to low and cook for 1 hour, stirring occasionally.

Step 4

Serve over the egg noodles, mashed potatoes or rice. Enjoy!
