Ingredients

  • Bone Suckin' All Purpose! Seasoning & Rub, 2-3 Tbsp
  • Butter, 1 1/2 sticks
  • Turkey, 8-12 lbs

Method

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350˚F. Rinse the turkey and pat dry. (Take out the giblets and neck)

Step 2

Start by gently separating the skin from the breast, but do not remove it. Try and separate the skin from the meatiest parts of the bird and then rub the meat with the softened butter. Next, sprinkle Bone Suckin’® All Purpose! Seasoning & Rub generously and rub it all over the outside of the turkey. Be generous, don't be scared to put more if you want.

Step 3

Place the skin back neatly over the turkey, tuck the legs back into position and place turkey, breast side up, into a roasting pan that is lined with foil.

Step 4

Cooking time is 3 to 3.5 hours for 8-12 lb turkey. Internal temperature should be 180˚F in thickest part of breast. Cooking time may vary.

Step 5

Baste with turkey juices during last 20 minutes of cooking.

Step 6

Remove from oven, cover with foil and let rest at least 15 minutes.

Step 7

Enjoy!
