Bone Suckin' ALL PURPOSE! Seasoning & Rub, Dinner, Oven, Turkey
Combine 3/4 jar Bone Suckin' ALL PURPOSE! Seasoning & Rub and water in large pot and stir well.
Remove neck, giblets, and pop up indicator (if turkey has one) from inside turkey.
Place turkey, breast side down, into the pot with brine and place lid on.
Brine in refrigerator 24 hours.
Remove turkey from brine mixture. Discard the brine mixture and pat the turkey dry.
Preheat oven to 350°F.
Coat the turkey with remaining 1/4 bottle of Bone Suckin' ALL PURPOSE! Seasoning & Rub.
Place turkey in oven and cook uncovered for 30 minutes, then tent loosely with foil to prevent overcooking the breasts. Continue cooking until the internal temperature reaches 175°F in the thickest part of the breast (about 3 hours total for a 12–14 lb turkey and you will see the meat pulling up on the end of the legs).
Remove turkey from the oven and let the rest for 30 minutes before carving. This locks in all those Bone Suckin’ juices.
Enjoy!!
