Ingredients

  • Southern Yum® Pecan Brittle, a few pieces, crumbled
  • Light Brown Sugar, 1 Box, 16 oz
  • Butter, Salted, 1 Stick, Melted
  • Eggs, 3
  • Self Rising White Cornmeal, 3 TBSP
  • Milk, 2/3 Cup
  • Vanilla, 1 tsp
  • Pecans, Chopped, 2 Cups
  • Pie Crusts, 2, Unbaked

Method

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350° F. Place pecans into bottom of unbaked pie shells. (1 cup each)

Step 2

Beat eggs separately. Melt butter, in microwave safe dish.

Step 3

Mix eggs and melted butter with other ingredients. Pour one half of the mixture over pecans in each pie crust.

Step 4

Bake at 350 degrees for about 40 minutes until pecans are golden brown and done. Makes 2 Pies.

Step 5

Finish with Southern Yum Pecan Brittle crumbled on top! Enjoy!
