Bone Suckin’ White Bean Soup

A hearty and flavorful White Bean Soup is a good recipe for cold nights!

Ingredients
  

  • 2 tbsp Bone Suckin’® Chicken Seasoning & Rub
  • 1 tsp Bone Suckin’® Hiccuppin’ Hot® Habanero Sauce
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 12 oz Great Northern Beans soaked overnight
  • 1 Red Pepper diced
  • 1 Yellow Onion diced
  • 4 qts Ham Stock
  • 2 tbsp Garlic minced
  • 4 Sausage Links
  • 4 tbsp Flour

Equipment

  • 1 Large Pot or Dutch Oven

Method
 

  1. In a large stockpot, heat olive oil to medium low. Add minced garlic, onion and red pepper. Sauté for 5 minutes.
  2. Add in sausage, Bone Suckin’® Chicken Seasoning and flour. Cook for 5 more minutes and stir well. Pour in the soaked beans and ham stock and stir well. The stock should thicken up. (If you prefer a thicker soup, add additional flour.)
  3. Bring the soup to a boil for 5 minutes, continuing to stir. Add Bone Suckin’® Hiccuppin’ Hot® Habanero Sauce and turn the heat to low or simmer.
  4. Cook, covered, for at least 45 minutes, stirring occasionally. Enjoy!
