Bone Suckin’ Red Bean Chili

This Red Bean Chili is a great winter recipe!

Ingredients
  

  • 2 tbsp Bone Suckin'® Hot Seasoning & Rub
  • 16 oz Salsa
  • 3 lbs Ground Beef
  • 8 oz Tomato Soup
  • 1 Beer can or bottle
  • 3 Tsp Cumin
  • 2 Onions diced
  • 15 oz Kidney Beans
OPTIONAL INGREDIENTS:
  • 3 oz Scallions chopped
  • 8 oz Sour Cream
  • 1 cup Sharp Cheddar Cheese shredded

Equipment

  • 1 Large stock pot
  • 1 Colander

Method
 

  1. In a large stock pot, brown ground beef over medium heat. Drain the fat from the ground beef. Add onions, Bone Suckin’® Hot Seasoning & Rub and cumin. Stir and cook over medium heat for 5 min.
  2. Pour in the salsa, tomato soup and kidney beans. Stir in the beer and combine well. Continue to cook over medium heat for 20 minutes.
  3. After cooking, serve in a bowl and top with a dollop of sour cream, cheddar cheese and scallions. Wonderful served with crusty bread topped with melted cheese. Enjoy!
