Bone Suckin’ Cheddar Biscuits

These biscuits pair well with almost any entree'. They're especially great as ham biscuits with Bone Suckin' Mustard.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 1/2 tsp Bone Suckin’® Hot Seasoning & Rub
  • 2 cups Self-Rising Flour
  • 1/2 tsp Paprika
  • 1/4 tsp Cayenne
  • 8 tbsp Butter
  • 1 1/2 cups Sharp Cheddar Cheese shredded
  • 1 cup Milk

Equipment

  • Parchment paper or non-stick spray
  • 1 Baking Sheet
  • 1 Large Bowl
  • 1 Food Processor
  • 1 Biscuit cutter
  • 1 Basting brush

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 450˚. Before cooking food, line baking sheet with parchment paper or spray baking sheet with a nonstick cooking spray.
  2. Line baking sheet with parchment paper or spray baking sheet with a nonstick cooking spray.
  3. In a large bowl sift together flour, Bone Suckin’® Hot Seasoning & Rub, paprika and cayenne.
  4. Work butter pieces into flour mixture with your hands or you may also pulse the flour mixture and butter in a food processor.
  5. Stir in cheese and mix well. Add milk to flour mixture and stir creating your dough.
  6. Place dough onto a floured surface and roll out to about a ¾ inch thickness. Using a biscuit cutter, cut biscuits into rounds and reroll the dough as needed.
  7. Place the biscuits on a prepared baking sheet about 2 inches apart. Bake for 10 minutes or until the biscuits are lightly browned.
  8. For a beautiful finished look, brush the tops of the baked biscuits with melted butter. Enjoy!

 Note: You can use household items like floured drinking glasses, mason jar rings, or empty cans as biscuit cutter alternatives
