Bone Suckin’ Cornbread

This is a moist, kickin’ cornbread recipe, and it can go with most any meal. You gotta try it!

Ingredients
  

  • 2 Tsp Bone Suckin’® Hot Seasoning & Rub
  • 1/2 cup Olive Oil
  • 1 cup Cornmeal self-rising
  • 3/4 cup Flour self rising
  • 1 cup Creamed Style Corn
  • 2 Eggs
  • 2 cups Sour Cream
  • 1 cup Sharp Cheese grated (optional)

Equipment

  • 1 Large Bowl
  • 1 Cast iron skillet

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375° F.
  2. Coat cast iron skillet with Olive Oil and preheat pan.
  3. Mix all ingredients together in a large bowl, stirring with a spoon or spatula, until combined.
  4. Pour batter into skillet, place skillet into oven and bake until golden brown about 30 minutes. These can be made into smaller individual muffins, but check for doneness after 15 minutes. Enjoy!
